The scope of CM Biomass Partners A/S covers sourcing, aggregating and trading activities, transport and physical handling of the traded products at number of storage sites. The sustainability certifications do not include sourcing of feedstock or production of biomass, however CM Biomass will also receive and handle comments pertaining to biomass products sourced.

The storage of biomass traded by CM Biomass happens in ports, in industrial zones and in agricultural or rural areas. CM Biomass has carefully considered potential negative impacts our normal transport and storage activities and have found that these are do not have any significant impact on stakeholders such as other businesses or households in the vicinity of the storage facilities. CM Biomass will carefully consider impacts on stakeholders in any unusual event that could affect vicinity stakeholders, e.g. storm, fire, flooding etc.

CM Biomass is committed to take any relevant stakeholder comment forwarded seriously.

To do this, we kindly request that any stakeholder that wishes to file a comment to CM Biomass regarding our transport, storage or handling of biomass does this by writing an email to: [email protected] with the topic clearly marked: STAKEHOLDER COMMENT

We also request that the stakeholder provides a clear description of the comment, along with any relevant evidence for the investigation of the comment, and that the stakeholder provides name and contact details in the form of email and phone number.

Comments can be filed in the language of any country where CM Biomass does business.

All comments will be handled in accordance with CM Biomass’ Comment and Complaints procedure, which means that

the comment will be acknowledged within 10 working days,
that comments will be investigated diligently
that the root cause of any relevant complaint will be analysed
that any corrective action required to ensure compliance with SPB standards are duly implemented, and
that the stakeholder will receive a notification of resolution of complaint within 30 days.

CM Biomass will strive to being open, transparent and responsible with regards to conformance with sustainability certification requirements and will handle all stakeholder comments under this commitment.
